Cyrus Afsary of Tempe, Arizona, holds college degrees in Fine Arts and
Interior Design. His paintings have won many awards,
including Best of Show at the C.M. Russell Art Auction and the Exceptional Merit Award
from the National Arts Club at the 1986 Pastel Society of
America Show. Afsary has also received gold and silver medals in
the National Academy of Western Art at the National Cowboy &
Western Heritage Museum and was the first recipient of their
now-coveted Lougheed Memorial Award. Afsary participates annually in the Prix de West Invitational at
the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and is a member of
the Northwest Rendezvous Group. Cyrus Afsary's work is featured in numerous publications, including American Artist, Art of the West, and Southwest Art. |
